Pill Bugs are dark gray crustaceans that are about 1/2" in length. These armadillo-like creatures can usually be found in damp conditions such as under rocks, crawlspaces or moist basements. They feed on organic matter and don't normally cause any damage. Females carry their eggs in a pouch where they hatch in about 50 days. The young molt every one to two weeks until they become adults.
